Privacy Policy

Customers may search for deals by entering a ZIP code or by allowing the browser to share their current location. Awwalk does not require customers to create an account to search for public deals or view walk-in codes.

When you choose Use My Location, your browser asks for permission to access your current latitude and longitude. Awwalk uses those coordinates to find approved, active, non-deleted business listings within your selected nearby radius and to estimate a nearby ZIP code for the search experience.

The current Awwalk website does not store a customer's precise location in the Awwalk business listings database. Your coordinates are processed for the search request and may be sent to Awwalk's hosting provider, Supabase for nearby business queries, and OpenStreetMap/Nominatim for reverse geocoding.

If you search by ZIP code, Awwalk uses that ZIP code to find eligible public business listings in the matching area. ZIP search does not require browser location permission.

Businesses can submit listing information including business name, category, street address, city, state, ZIP code, country, business phone, website, contact name, contact phone, contact email, discount percentage, additional offers, notes, and an optional business or store photo.

Awwalk uses this information to review the submission, create and manage business listings, display approved offers to customers, generate walk-in codes, show directions, and support admin review. Public customer pages do not display private admin notes or business contact-person details.

Optional business photos are uploaded through Awwalk's server-controlled upload flow and stored in Supabase Storage. The current site serves business images only when they are connected to an approved, active, non-deleted listing, or when an authorized admin is viewing them.

Awwalk uses Cloudflare Turnstile on business signup to help prevent automated abuse and spam submissions.

Authorized Awwalk admins may review, approve, reject, pause, restore, update, and soft-delete business listings. Admin pages use Supabase authentication. Application IDs and Store IDs are controlled by the database.

Awwalk uses OpenStreetMap/Nominatim for address suggestions, reverse geocoding, and server-side validation of submitted or edited business addresses. This helps store accurate latitude and longitude for business listings so nearby deal search can work.

Direction links open Google Maps in a new browser tab or window using the business address. When you use Google Maps, your use is handled by Google under its own terms and privacy practices.

Public deal search does not require an Awwalk customer account. Admin authentication uses Supabase session cookies so authorized admins can stay signed in. Awwalk's hosting and service providers may also process routine technical logs such as request time, route, browser information, IP address, error details, and performance information to operate and secure the website.

Awwalk currently relies on third-party service providers, including Supabase for database, authentication, and storage; Vercel for website hosting; OpenStreetMap/Nominatim for address search and geocoding; and Google Maps for external directions. Awwalk uses these services to operate the features described in this policy.

The current Awwalk website implementation does not include features for selling personal information.

Business listing submissions and related photos may be kept while the listing is pending, approved, rejected, paused, deleted in the admin system, or otherwise needed for business operations. Awwalk may retain admin records, submission history, and technical logs as needed to operate, protect, and improve the website.

Awwalk uses access controls, server-side validation, private storage, and admin-only workflows to help protect submitted information. No website can guarantee absolute security, but Awwalk is designed to avoid exposing service-role credentials to the browser and to limit public access to eligible business listings and images.

Businesses may request correction or removal of submitted business information. Awwalk can update listings, pause listings, or move listings to Deleted in the admin system when appropriate. To make a request, contact Awwalk at Info@awwnetworking.com.

Awwalk is intended for general audiences and is not designed to collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information to Awwalk, contact Awwalk so the request can be reviewed.

Awwalk may update this Privacy Policy as the website and its features change. The Last Updated date shows when the current version took effect.
